It's official! Your reputable local record shop should have copies of Tight Knit in the bins as of today, so treat yourself to a listen and lay hands on the fine artwork and packaging, courtesy of Nathaniel Russell and the fine folks at Sub Pop.

Bella Union should have copies available overseas right as we finish our tour, for which we leave tonight! Very excited are we. I'll be bringing with us some copies of the cd to sell, as well as some shirts, for those in need of new attire.

We want to extend a hearty thank you to the fine folks at Frankies Sputino in Brooklyn, for allowing us to get down last evening with a few friends in celebration of our new release. Always a pleasure to eat there!

Europe and the UK, here we come!

Andy and Friends,

When you come to Asheville I've a place for you all to stay if you need one. By the way I'm glad I'll get to see you guys again, it's been awhile; although this up coming one in Asheville will make number five. Keep up the great work, you're very pleasing to the ear.

Cheers,
sidney ann

I know everyone from their various other projects, but was finally introduced to Vetiver by KCRW-LA this week.

Thanks for making fantastic toe-tapping diddies!!!!

It returned me to a happy state of mind after a crappy Friday at work.

Please keep it up!!!

Wow the new album is amazing. After a week and dozens of listens, I am in love with yet again another Vetiver record. I hope you make it back to Pittsburgh sometime. The folks who do Mr. Smalls booking, where you played with Gary Louris, do booking for some smaller venues in town like the Brillobox and Club Cafe. You would fit in quite well there. Hope you make it back soon. Safe travels, congrats on another great album, and cheers!

Richard de Cordova | 03/07/09 @ 09:23 PM

More thanks from Cecil Sharpe, his house, and everyone who has ever sailed in her.
Andy, I'm the Dick (tho' my friends sadly, rarely call me by that name) who asked you how to correctly pronounce your surname (it's Kabik, for those ignorants like my former self).
Thanks for a truly magical evening. Your audience was worthy of Lennon's lyric from Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band...."...you're such a lovely audience I'd love to take you home with us...."
When you guys play the Casbah, in sunny S.D. next month, play your Vetibestest for the family
Rowe who have come to love you as I do.
If you can, get up to Encinitas go to the Bestawan (my el Rio) where Kyle will stand you a few jugs of So' Cal's best brews.

Come back soon as yous can.
