Well the end of the year is nigh upon us! Where did the the whole damn thing go?
Vetiver is gearing up for some shows of a different color: a collaborative tour with Vashti Bunyan, Adem and Juana Molina in January, throughout the UK, and a performance at Carnegie Hall in February, which we hear involves Vashti and Adem, as well as Devendra, CocoRosie and Cibelle.

Bookending these events, we've been invited to join Two Gallants for a pair of shows in San Francisco to close out the year, and a week-long tour of the East Coast in February with Vashti. Hopefully after that, we will be able to rest and regroup for some recordings....but that's getting ahead of ourselves a bit.

Thanks to everyone, everywhere who helped us out along the road this year, and came to our shows. Thanks to Piccadilly Records in the UK for selecting To Find Me Gone as their top album of the year...we'll see you in a few weeks!

And of course, thanks to everyone who keeps writing us comments here and on our MySpace page. It's encouraging to hear what you have to say.

Best Wishes and enjoy the year's end...

Hey Andy,

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the show in Brighton last week with Vashti and co
It was one of my most treasured live gigs. I also saw guys at Bestival last sept, the new album tracks were beautiful live. 'Busted'was my favourite!

Peace, Gar

Hope you guys head back to the Cactus Club or some other Milwaukee venue soon. Cheers from the Brew City.

Hey Andy&co

Missed your show in glasgow due to cash reasons and as i love your music and am deeply joyed by the rise in resonating tones which seem to be coming alive again i was hoping you might be back in scotland again this year at some point?. Can't wait to hear more and see you live. And so to Mr Cabic, got to be one of the best songsmiths around at any moment in songwriting chronology......and that banhart fella!!! Jeez what a house that must be!!!

peace and love

I second Klive's comments - please come back to Scotland with the full band sometime soon!! Don't be put off by the lousy weather, in fact this country gets a lot of its electricity from crap weather. Don't be strangers, let's see you again soon.

Sounds like a dream gig at Carnegie Hall, although I'm really glad I got to see Juana last night. Vetiver, CocoRosie, Devendra and Adem? You lucky people! Actually, I've done not bad in seeing you all at the ABC last night, and Joanna Newsom a couple of nights before.

Until we meet again...

You Guys are the Bee's Knees!! I went to see you at The Sage Gateshead UK the other day and now have the 'To Find me gone' album, which I intend to listening to all the time!!

Best Wishes

It was beautiful.

Jo | 02/05/07 @ 05:14 PM

i didn't feel like dancing but i felt a whole bunch of other things without moving. you and vashti were fabulous last night!

don't forget charlottesville on your next tour -- damn super bowl had to steal your crowd. but we're here, i promise!

Jake | 02/07/07 @ 01:22 PM

Andy you are a long way from Springfield.. remember the days at Washington Irving! I have been listening, entranced. Beautiful stuff. I can't tell you how good it is to hear your familiar voice singing these songs.
